    Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Artificial Insemination is a procedure that involves the introduction of washed spermatozoa of the male partner into the womb (uterus) of the female partner. This procedure is often recommended when the husband’s sperm cannot reach inside the woman’s uterus though they are present in adequate numbers in the semen.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is also beneficial in the treatment of infertility due to impotence, low sperm count, reduced sperm motility or other sperm problems. When the female is undergoing ovulation induction, IUI may significantly improve the chances of successful fertilization.
